The Asian experience at CWRU and beyond

Alumnus Hiroyuki Fujita, MS ’98, PhD ’98, founder of Quality Electrodynamics, will join a panel discussion on “The Classroom, the Boardroom, Every Room: Asian and AAPI Experiences at CWRU and Beyond.” David Fleshler, Vice Provost for International Affairs, will moderate the online discussion at 3 p.m. Friday, May 14.

Commencement 2021

The university will host modified in-person graduation ceremonies this year, with graduates of the Case School of Engineering and College of Arts and Sciences receiving diplomas on Sunday, May 30. The ceremonies on Freiberger Field are restricted to graduates but the proceedings will be live-streamed over the Internet.

HireOhio Multi-University Alumni Career Fair
CWRU is partnering with the HireOhio Multi-University Alumni Career Fair, which seeks to connect job seekers from top universities with interested employers, June 9 and 10 via Zoom.  Registration is free.

OCTOBER

Learn to lightweight

Associate Professor Sunniva Collins, MS ’91, PhD ’95, and Dave Pierson will lead a class in lightweighting that leads to certification. Design for Advanced Manufacturing for Lightweighting Certificate is being offered both online and on site at ASM International: Tuesday October 5, 2021.
