Ready to volunteer? There are many ways to volunteer with the Case Alumni Association. Chances are, there is an opportunity that matches your interests and your schedule. And if there isn't, you just might be able to start one!
The first step is to explore some of the options already available, and then get in touch. It's that simple.
CURRENTLY WE OFFER BOTH IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITIES

Professional Development Presenter
Do you have a topic on which you are qualified to present or a programming idea you would like us to offer? This is an opportunity to share your professional knowledge in person or virtually with current students or alumni.

Professional Organization Network Ambassador
Do you attend professional organizations events or does your workplace have a CWRU alumni cohort or would like to form one? We are looking for volunteers to act as any of the following: greeters, organizers, marketers or hosts. This is an opportunity to be a part of the CAA team at alumni group gatherings at professional organization events or in the workplace.

Regional Volunteer for Newly Recruited CWRU Student Events
Do you want to volunteer locally? We are looking for volunteers to attend regional events for “Accepted CWRU Students” and “CWRU Summer Send-Off” for incoming freshmen. This program works directly with the CWRU Admissions Office and we ask that you share your Case experience in conversational settings. Past events have been held in Chicago, Boston, New York City and the Bay Area.

Young Alumni Task Force (Graduated after 2009)
Did you graduate after 2009? We are looking for volunteers to discuss how CAA can enrich their professional lives. Members attend 3 virtual one hour meetings a year.

Scholarship Interviewer (virtual or in-person)
Do you want to help select the next generation of Case Alumni Scholars? Join the CAA scholarship interview team. The time commitment ranges from 4 hours to 20 hours over “Scholarship Week” during the spring term.

Reunion Ambassador
Do you want to get the old gang back together? CAA can help facilitate that for you. We have helped organize all types of reunions including fraternity, department, alumni student groups and even lab partners.

Group Mentors
Do you like the idea of helping groups prepare for competitions or judging contests? If you enjoyed your time with Design for America, SAE, the Case Rocket Team or any of our engineering student groups, consider giving back as a mentor.

Career and Professional Development Mentors
Do you like the idea of providing exposure to the professional world to undergraduate students or helping fellow alumni with job leads? We are looking for volunteers that can offer professional opportunities to undergraduates through job shadowing, co-ops, or virtual informational interviews. There are opportunities to share open positions and/or recruit current students and alumni to your company, as well.

Social Media Ambassador
Do you enjoy posting on social media? We are looking for alumni to share on CAA sites. This is your organization and you can be driving the conversations. You can volunteer as little or as much as you would like. Many different types of opportunities available.

Do you have specific thoughts or ideas on how you would like to volunteer?
